A recipe for the coziest master bedroom

It’s Monday. Word on the street is that Mondays aren’t the best day of the week… but I know you’ve had a strong cup of coffee and I have faith that your day will be awesome. For sure. In hopes of adding a little extra inspiration to your Monday morning, I thought I’d share some of my favorite farmhouse style decor buys for the coziest master bedroom! We’re talking bedding, pillows, and throw blankets. Which is actually really exciting to me, and hopefully you too!

1- BEDDING! Comforters, coverlets, quilts… so many choices! But which one? I am going to share my TOP THREE favorites. All-time. Search no more. For those who are looking for a budget-friendly option but don’t want to sacrifice on quality… This coverlet from Target is the bees knees. I have it on my bed & I love it. It’s simple, affordable, and just really pretty. Plus, it washes SO easily, which just might be the best part. Especially if you have dirty little children who like to roll all over your bed or have a furry friend who sleeps with you. This coverlet is bright white, so in order to keep it that way I add a little baking soda in the washing machine, and it comes out sparkly clean and looking brand new every time. My mama taught me that. If you’re a fan of fluffy comforters (who isn’t), I love this white comforter set from Walmart! It’s $100 for the entire set and has that farmhouse feel to it with the cutest ruffle details. It’s lush and really is a beautiful and looks way more expensive than $100. The best for last? Possibly. Y’all. If you wanna splurge a little, Anthropologie has this quilt that comes in four colors. I LOVE the light grey and the cream in this one. Yes, it’s a little more expensive. But the quality is top notch and it’s classic with a fun side. It’s kind of a tufted & ruffle combo that would be aaaamazing for your dream bedroom. Here is a picture of my bed with the Target coverlet on it 🙂

2- Pillows! In my opinion, throw pillows MAKE the bed. Which is kind of silly, maybe. But seeing cute pillows on my bed really makes me happy. You may or may not know this about me, but I am a self-proclaimed pillow lady. It’s a thing. And if you are too, I GET YOU. I support you. First and foremost, Linen & Ivory. If I was rich and could buy every pillow cover off her website, you bet I would. Scouts honor. Every single one is dang amazing. The picture below is my personal favorite pillow cover from Linen & Ivory in my home. Click here to fulfill your Linen & Ivory pillow dreams. Another one of my all time favorites is With Lavendar and Grace. I have one of With Lavender & Grace’s pillows smack dab in the middle of my bed. She has the most thoughtful little sayings on her pillows and I really just love them. The quality is nothing short of amazing. Last but certainly NOT least, these buffalo check pillow covers. They come in SO many different colors and are just under $12 for a set of two. I own like 8 of these pillows. Don’t tell anyone.

3- And throw blankets! Another essential. Totally adds to the cozy factor. I always go for something chunky or something suuuuuper soft. Whatever makes you happy! A couple of my favorites are this black & cream buffalo check throw from Target, this white knit throw from Amazon Prime, and any of the chunky knit throws from Artizen Home. Artizen’s throw blankets are on the more expensive end, but you are paying for a handmade, super high-quality Merino wool blanket that is well-worth the price tag. An alternative to Artizen with a more modest price tag is this knit throw from Pottery Barn. Not AS chunky, but definitely gives you that same kind of look. I also love this faux fur one from Pottery Barn to snuggle up with on cold nights – so soft. P.S. Pottery Barn is having a 20% off sale right now! While I could go on and on and on about my love for throw blankets (ask my husband – he thinks I’m half crazy) these ones are my current favorites.

Aaaaand that’s all I have for you! I hope you found something you like and that you kick some Monday ass. You can do it & you are awesome. Have a great day!
