Y’all. Soup, in my opinion, is the ultimate comfort food. With temperatures hitting low 20 degrees at night, literally all I want to eat right now is soups/stews/chilis. I want to heat my lil home up with a big pot of something bubbly, something nourishing, and something full of flavor. Then I want to cozy up on the couch and let it warm my insides right up. Go ahead, tell me soup can be enjoyed year-round. That may be true. But right now. This is soup’s season. If you are also on Team Soup, you are in the right place. I am going to share my favorite (mostly) healthy soup recipes from my favorite food bloggers, and I will also share how I tweak the recipe — if I do tweak it at all. These are all tried & true cold weather staples in our family. Also. Bonus: All of them are husband approved.
Y’all asked for Christmas gift ideas for the men in your life and Ben (my husband) put together what is either on his list OR things he has and loves. There are 25 gifts and an additional 7 stocking stuffer ideas in here. I hope that these make your gift searching a little easier — and you can thank Ben if it does!
Sometimes gift-giving stresses me out. Because let’s be honest, a good gift can leave a big—and lasting—impression on its recipient. That’s why knowing how to give a great gift is a skill that we can all stand to benefit from! Especially around the holidays. One of my favorite gifting hacks are the one, the only, gift baskets/gift boxes! Maybe it’s that little bit of OCD I have in me, but I love coming up with a theme and curating a little box of things I know someone will love. Today, I am on the blog with Tuesday Morning sharing how to create a beautiful gift box WITHOUT breaking the bank! Each of these boxes contain name-brand, high quality items at a fraction of the cost. To be specific, each basket cost under $25 for everything inside. Do you like great deals without sacrificing quality? You came to the right party. Click below to see!
It’s currently low 60’s here and I have seen some leaves starting to change. What. The. Actual. Heck. I seriously can’t believe Summer is basically over and Fall is coming. I mean, Fall is my favorite season, but Summer in Coeur d’Alene (where I live) is absolute magic and I can’t believe how fast it blew by.
Today, I am going to share with y’all some Fall sweaters I have either purchased or have on my wish list! Everything is under $40, and a lot of them are Amazon Prime. I am also including my go-to protein smoothie recipe for Fall. I legit start having it for breakfast once it’s acceptable to start adding pumpkin to allll the foods. Which I think that time is new. This smoothie will satisfy your pumpkin tooth without packing on the added sugars and empty calories. Click below to read more!
As if being a mom isn’t busy enough… now we are supposed to work in time for “self-care.” What the what!? Sometimes I barely have time to shower, let alone meditate with a diffuser for an hour & have a spa day.
But you guys. Wh
I am going to share with you five self-care tips that work for me, in hopes that some of them may work for you. They’re simple. They’re small. They’re not fancy. But they are all DOABLE. And they all take less than 30 minutes and can be done from home.
If you follow me on Instagram (@everydaykacie), you may or may not have caught on that I am a liiiittle obsessed with Amazon fashion lately. I mean… I don’t have to go to a store to try it on, it’s affordable, great return policy, and there are already a bunch of reviews that answer any question I could have–from size references to length to quality. On this blog post, I am going to share my current Amazon Fashion favorites. Almost everything linked I own; and if I linked it but it’s not pictured, I don’t own it, but it’s “saved for later” in my cart and already passed my “does it have good reviews?” test! If you have any questions, always ask! 🙂 Hope you enjoy.
